About Lasertech

Lasertech are one of the largest independent Manufacturers and Suppliers of Printer Cartridges in the UK, with nearly 100 franchisees operating in the UK, Ireland and Spain.

Lasertech was established in 1989 by Jason Williams, using a £1000 grant from the Princes Trust. The business started in Jason's bedroom which he converted into a Toner Cartridge Production area. After breaking 5 of his mothers vacuum cleaners whilst cleaning out used toner cartridges, he moved to premises and vowed to always use proper machines, and invest in R & D for production of Toner & Ink Cartridges.

Jason still runs the company today, and has over 50 members of staff at our Head Office in Warrington, Cheshire, where the Lasertech Brand is still produced to full ISO 9001:2000 standards.

In 2005 we teamed up with Spicers, one of the largest Stationery distributors in the UK, to offer our customers an additional 25,000 office products, stationery and furniture, giving them a complete office supplies solution.

The Lasertech Recycling Programme Recognising our environmental responsibilities we set up the Lasertech Recycling Programme to encourage our customers to return their empty cartridges for credit, which can be redeemed against new cartridges or office products. The aim is to reduce the amount of printer consumable waste sent to land fills in countries such as China. The outer plastic shell is used to manufacturer new Lasertech cartridges, with all the internal components being replaced.
